In the second quarter of 2024, dragon-themed mobile games have shown mixed performances on the unified platform, as per the data from Sensor Tower. Here's a snapshot of how the top dragon games fared during this period.
Dragon City: Mobile Adventure from Social Point, saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at $190K and ending at $101K in the final week of June. Downloads followed a similar inconsistent pattern, with a high of 194K at the beginning of April and a low of 55K in early May. Weekly active users ranged from 5.6M to 5K, with a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter.
FARLIGHT's Call of Dragons experienced a significant revenue spike in April at $855K, with subsequent weeks leveling out to around $261K. Downloads remained relatively steady, staying below the 100K mark, while weekly active users saw a modest increase from 537K to 542K by late June.
Dragon Drill by WinterGameStudio, which did not generate revenue, had its downloads start at 166K in early April and drop to a low of 24K by late May, before a slight recovery to 75K by the end of June. The game's weekly active users reflected this decline, starting at 260K and decreasing to 94K over the quarter.
